Hey guys, sorry for not posting everyday, just been a little busy with the girls. Swimming lessons, library - volunteering - and just trying to keep them entertained has been a chore!!! Have to post on some of my DIY for the baptism - also the pics from the actual baptism. Tomorrow is another day - ENJOY!

Weekend Updates!

This weekend was a great one!!! We had a BBQ for the graduates...

This easel was collecting dust in the closet - but I took it out to the backyard and we've been using it every single day!!!!

So, remember I told you I did a little bit of shopping...this is what I picked up - first time using it now I need a really GOOD punch recipe - I totally cheated with this juice! lol

Twizzlers were a hit!!!

Table was really small and not too much 'sweets' kids were more focused on the pool anyways, I just I had to do something though...

We had a good time. The kids played and ate and enjoyed the pool. It was a nice time!!! My grads got to keep their frames with the pic of the actual date they Moved Up - so these were printed the night before. For whatever reason my pom pom came out horrible but I still put it up...can't waste a craft even if it's not perfect.

Next up my niece's [Natalie] baptism, which was the next day. I forgot my camera but I will have pics soon. I do have pics of what I created - there wasn't too much decoration but just enough to not have it look boring.

I'm also having a grad bbq for our Moving Up grads (my 2 daughters and my nephew) pre-k, K and 4th grade!!!!! Lots of pics on Monday of our Grad bbq and of course, my niece's baptism!!!

Terrific Tuesday

Today was a busy day!!!! I did go to Michaels to pick up ribbon and some other things - I love ribbon that's 99 cents - that's my type of deal~

Okay guys tomorrow is my daugther's Moving Up ceremony and I doubt I'll be on to blog about what I know will be a Wonderful Wednesday...lol. We are taking her and her sister to Dave and Busters after the ceremony and we'll see what other fun stuff we'll get into!!! My big girl is going to Middle School....I'm a proud momma~~~Enjoy your Wednesday everyone!!

We had a great time @ my parents - BBQ & pool for the kiddies, who could ask for more - oh yeah and the best part of the afternoon was that my mom played BINGO - her all time fave past-time...good times indeed!!!! ;o)

Wishing all the dads out there a great Father's day!!! I spent the afternoon with my dad along with hubby and the brother-in-laws...bbq at my parents...it was nice!!! Kids had a great time and we had fun too!!!

Terrific Tuesday!

Let me show you what I was working on yesterday afternoon, gave me a bit of trouble but I think it looks good....thoughts????? ( ribbon is not perfect - just a sample!)

In other news.....

O M G...so excited - we purchased this FABULOUS desk for Kailyn (my 9 yr old) and it was delivered this morning (very early)....really like how great is it?

It's part ONE of her graduation gift(s). She's going into middle school in September - 5th grade in MS - I know like really I thought was a bit too early but that's how the district works here in my neighborhood...any hoot, it's a place to do her hw, doodle and just look totally fab in her room. Btw, this is just the beginning of the make-over that I have in stored for her room - you know - little girl in elementary school to big girl in MS....oh boy (secretly excited) aside from loving party decorating - I love decorating period so redoing her room is right up my alley - I will update with every change...

Weekend...

The weekend is almost upon us...I've been cleaning up the girls playroom. What a disaster. This is what I've learned:

1. No more toys!!!
2. Okay really no more toys from flea markets, garage sales, mcd's, the register @ the supermarket, etc, etc, etc. These usually small toys just make a HUGE mess!!!!
3. I must do a monthly clean-up
4. Need to give toys away
5. Have to throw away w/e is missing pieces...

I hope I've learned all my lessons!!!! Will see what happens in another month...oh yeah did I mention that I did NOT attempt the closet in there...now that will take me an entire day!!!! Oh boy!!!!!

All the chocolate - covered oreos with sugar butterflies, chocolate covered pretzels and rice krispy chocolate covered butterflies were all made by Bia (my very good friend) who is starting her business. She is a wonderful person and pays attention to detail. She worked very well with us and knew exactly what our vision was and executed it to perfection. Plus, we got to keep that adorable basket :o)....oh the things that make me happy!!!!

Her company is Pretzel Delights (let's remember this - it's going to be big!). Her website is not up yet but the minute it is I will post her web address. First day

This is my first blog. I've been following blogs for a while and decided I should create one...don't know how this will turn out...here I go.

I love parties and I see there is a lot of party blogs, why not another one...I've been inspired by all the blogs to create yet another party blog so I can inspire yet another person to blog or at least inspire a party idea.

So here we go...I will post past parties, and future parties, parties I see and things that are inspiring and even things that I have created, don't know what will come out of this, hopefully just an outlet to share my ideas and thoughts and hopefully have a follower or two.

My niece's 1st Birthday was this past weekend. Her theme was a Sweet Candy Carnival. Here are some pictures of the party.
