Hey guys...

I've been busy....

I've been purging...playroom closet....trying to organize this space has proven to be very difficult because a certain someone doesn't think anything has to go....

 In between, all the fun of organizing, we had a lot of fun on Easter...

The girls are in Track...so it's been fun joining them in practices :)

...and also having an awesome Spring Break...

This is a special day right here...my lil girl learned how to ride w/out training wheels, yeah they are still on but not touching...we are removing them today....she's so excited and proud, and so are we!!!

I've been busy with a lot of other things, that I will post about soon.  We did a patio floor, we did something special in the kitchen, we are getting ready for the summer and for a special trip in May.  We are def busy - so it's hard to take a minute and write about it.!

Happy Valentine's Day

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's day!  I will be spending my vday watching my oldest perform in the school play that she has been rehearsing for the past 3 months, I think it's going to be the best Valentine ever....

Friday shopping!

Today I headed out to buy detergent...but I stopped and couldn't leave these lovelies behind...

I plan to do something cool with these frames:

I don't have many plastic easter eggs, so I thought why not...only 1 buck...and I'll come up with something before Easter...there is tons of inspiration in blogland...

I've actually been looking for this letter...the first letter in our Family name....but it's small but for now it will do what I need...needs paint - don't cha think?

And this...well, it may stay like this....and may not...who knows...but I grabbed it just in case....

and that's all folks, I won't show you the tide, and miscellaneous cleaning supplies I picked up cuz that's just weird! lol

Spring-like weather

makes me sooo happy!!!! I feel like spring cleaning...really I do!!!! All this spring-fever makes me want to change my winterized home into a spring time one...that means redecorating.! woo hoo. I'll make any excuse to do that!!!! In with the fresh colors and out with the darks!!! yay....I'm thinking I need new curtains in my dining room, a need to change some frames around, add some art to some plain walls and just liven things up a little...I know I'm getting ahead of myself...but warm weather makes me happy!!!!

Enjoy it because tomorrow we're back to normal weather...

Yesterday was Mandy's 6th bday. We had family over and cut her a cake and had dinner. It was a great time. We saw our very special friend who is carrying her first child...a sweet little girl...can't wait to meet her!!!! The birthday celebration was great because Mandy got exactly what she asked for!!!! She had a great day and that's what it's all about...coming next.... CHRISTMAS...

Hey

Hey how are you guys? I haven't updated because I figure who is really reading this but ME!!!! But instead of giving up and losing hope, I decided I will keep updating even if it's just a couple of people that actually read this!!!!

Farm was great. Halloween was awesome. The girls dressed up, niece & nephews came over to trick-o-treat. We had a lot of fun. We also did some crafts and had a little too much candy!!

Now we're onto November, I still haven't done any November decor. I don't really have much - I had tons of Halloween decor. But I have to come up with something to decorate my fantle!!!! Let's see what I can come up with!!! Will keep you posted.

Sooo glad it's Friday. Tomorrow we will be going to a Fall Festival in this farm that we go to every fall. I'm looking forward to it.

It's that time again...girls are back. My big girl had an emotional moment but ended up having an awesome 1st day in Middle school. My lil' girl had a GREAT time in Kindergarten. She loved it, although some issues with 'friends' - it's only the 1st week...they will be okay!!! Coming up...Sleep-Over-Party!!!!

Thankful

Last nite - I finished up kailyn's invite to deliver to her friends today. I also did her bday banner. I have like 2 banners left to do. But once I get the urge to do something, I don't care what time it is. So I went to bed @ like 2 a.m. have you ever had so much on your mind that you have to write stuff down? Well my memory is like non-existent these days so writing down is a PRIORITY. So I'm in bed and I'm thinking, thinking, thinking...so I start writing. Does anyone else have a journal by their night stand? A pen and some paper? something...come on guys!!! Well I do. So I jotted things that came to my head, not ideas, per say, but things I cannot forget. So I'm thankful for my little journal, for my scraps of paper and for my pen by my nightstand.

I promise I'm going to take pics of all these and put it up. All this week is finishing up for her party next Saturday!!!! woo hoo.

We had a fun day in the city. We had orientations @ their new schools. Now Labor Day is upon us - next week school starts and along with that starts the projects.

Wow it's been a while since I've posted!!!!! Sorry guys. What's been going on......well summer is coming to an end and we have just been enjoying it. We are back to school shopping, trying to get back into a routine and in all that got a dog. (not under my consent) ANYWAYS!

So, back to party mode. My daughter's bday is in less than a month. I am now swinging back into that mode and trying to get as much done as possible. Not much needs to be done but you know details, details, details.

I've tried every which way to do my "invention" and it didn't work so I caved and opted for something already done. I know sucks. But hey the party must go on. I am working on labels and banners now - this week. Also the invitation is in it's final stages. Basically assembling process.... it's starting to get exciting!!!!!

Happy Monday

Guess what: I unloaded the 'junk' in the cabinets over my 'craft' area and now I have SPACE!!! woo hoo. Still haven't done anything with the space itself, because they are deep and I need a genius way of putting up shelves or "something" in order to use all the space and not have any dead space. So I'm working on that. I'm so happy that it's all done...well that the junk is out!!!! Now I have like 3 more boxes to shred and I'll be all caught up with the 'junk' yay!!! Next stop my closet. Yes, finally get rid of all my 'skinny' jeans which do NOT fit and I need to STOP acting like I'm gonna wear them when they eventually fit. But that's another story...stay tuned!!

HAPPY....HAPPY,...HAPPY....

I've been MIA for the last couple of days!!!! sorry guys I've just been super busy. First off, my bday was yest....yipee and I had a FABULOUS day!!! First off, I spent the afternoon @ the park with my sister, hubby n the girls. Then I had to stop @ the drs office with Mandy - ear infection - uggghhhhh - but then we were off to dinner!!! and @ dinner my family showed up, sisters/hubbies and my mom!!!!! such a KOOL surprise!!!!! After dinner we went to my mom's - cake cutting - it's just a tradition whoever's bday - whenever it's CAKE TIME!!!!! and then the KOOLEST present ever...cuz you know since I've been home I've been crafting so getting a CRICUT is like a dream come true!!!!! yay!!!! so it was indeed a PERFECT day!!!!! Love my family and just getting to know my cricut...ta...ta....

Weekend!

Hey all, I hope everyone has a great wknd planned, I don't have much planned but just some pampering!!!!! (nice!!!!) and a few crafts here and there.!!!! I am hoping to get started on the S.O.P. decor this wknd so I can be ahead of the game since I tend to be a bit of a procrastinator...but we won't get into that now will we!!!! ta...ta...

Guess what...

I've changed my mind. I don't think those buckets will be used for Kailyn's 10th bday! I know I know, I think I've changed the colors and theme, there was no actual theme but I had something in mind, but I changed my mind!!! That's just me. I'm working on something very COOL, once I have something concrete - I will share...you know it only takes ONE idea and then all the sudden you have a party!!!! ;o)

Terrific Tuesday

Man oh man is it HOT out here!!! Okay I got swimming lessons out the way and the pool was very cold but sooooooo PERFECT for this weather, it's like over 100 degrees here in NY!!!!

Coming up in a later post, I have some 4th decor that I would like to share with you. It was a last minute thing but I think it turned out nice. Right now I'm just indoors trying to clean out closets and keeping cool - keyword: COOOL. So indoors for the next couple of hours then dropping off my older one @ work - a/k/a volunteering at the library! She loves it and I'm proud of that!!!

Happy 4th!

Golf = Free Goodies

Okay so my hubby sometimes has to play golf as part of his job duties (tough job, huh?) so Monday he had a golf outing and he won these glasses, Mikasa. He also won a new golf bag (he was totally excited about that...me not so much..) so any hoot, I get the glasses - how sweet! Don't you just love them...I see candy in them...I know he sees alcohol or some sort of beverage and I see candy, bows, etc.....
