HEY

No I haven't forgotten about you....just been so busy! I am trying to work on Kailyn's bday, also school supplies - and of course - enjoying the last bits of Summer. I have things to show you. I have to take pics. Soon the post will have preps for the party, I promise.

The party is in 2 weeks. I cannot believe it. I need to get my butt moving. Well it's been moving but I need to finish the projects that I started!!!!

Okay really. I'm gonna get to my cricut and start creating a banner!!! :o)

S.T.U.F.F.

Wow it's been a while since I've posted!!!!! Sorry guys. What's been going on......well summer is coming to an end and we have just been enjoying it. We are back to school shopping, trying to get back into a routine and in all that got a dog. (not under my consent) ANYWAYS!

So, back to party mode. My daughter's bday is in less than a month. I am now swinging back into that mode and trying to get as much done as possible. Not much needs to be done but you know details, details, details.

I've tried every which way to do my "invention" and it didn't work so I caved and opted for something already done. I know sucks. But hey the party must go on. I am working on labels and banners now - this week. Also the invitation is in it's final stages. Basically assembling process.... it's starting to get exciting!!!!!

Guess what: I unloaded the 'junk' in the cabinets over my 'craft' area and now I have SPACE!!! woo hoo. Still haven't done anything with the space itself, because they are deep and I need a genius way of putting up shelves or "something" in order to use all the space and not have any dead space. So I'm working on that. I'm so happy that it's all done...well that the junk is out!!!! Now I have like 3 more boxes to shred and I'll be all caught up with the 'junk' yay!!! Next stop my closet. Yes, finally get rid of all my 'skinny' jeans which do NOT fit and I need to STOP acting like I'm gonna wear them when they eventually fit. But that's another story...stay tuned!!

So in LOVE...

with my CRICUT! Okay I've done different things with it and I don't want to stop! I think it's the coolest thing ever. So, yeah I did vinyl lettering woo hoo. I have to post the coolest frame i did over and I have to tell you that I may go a little 'vinyl' lettering crazy. Yeah I already know it!!!! Will post soon...you know if I ever give my cricut a rest! Oh yeah and in the midst of all this I am redoing (not exactly) my computer/craft/guest room. Which what I really want to do, can't be done right now...so I've opted to do a little bit of changes, and that included finding a home for my cricut on my desk...so yeah that task will probably last all weeks since I need to unload the cabinets over my desk to fit my crafting stuff. YIPEE. lol.

HAPPY....HAPPY,...HAPPY....

I've been MIA for the last couple of days!!!! sorry guys I've just been super busy. First off, my bday was yest....yipee and I had a FABULOUS day!!! First off, I spent the afternoon @ the park with my sister, hubby n the girls. Then I had to stop @ the drs office with Mandy - ear infection - uggghhhhh - but then we were off to dinner!!! and @ dinner my family showed up, sisters/hubbies and my mom!!!!! such a KOOL surprise!!!!! After dinner we went to my mom's - cake cutting - it's just a tradition whoever's bday - whenever it's CAKE TIME!!!!! and then the KOOLEST present ever...cuz you know since I've been home I've been crafting so getting a CRICUT is like a dream come true!!!!! yay!!!! so it was indeed a PERFECT day!!!!! Love my family and just getting to know my cricut...ta...ta....

SUPER LONG POST...

REMEMBER THIS:

IT'S TRANSFORMING INTO THIS. I TOOK MY DOLLIE APART. (btw, my youngest was in disbelief as I was doing this). I added this wire and a bell ($ tree) wedding bell...lol. I needed a stand!!!

I closed her up.

Then I stood her up for you all to see. But guess what - she's not holding up so well, hence, my helping hand...OKAY will fix that - remember we are building a model here.....

I put her in this ramekin dish because you know the bell wasn't enough. You will SOON understand why she's in yet another stand.

This baby right now has just been sprayed painted white and I have to have her standing upright to withstand constant abuse from jewelry. YES, that's what I'm trying to achieve here, a jewelry holder. This is why I need the ramekin cup because this way you can store your really cool rings, you know when you're 10 you have really cool rings OR silly bandz...lol. I will giver her wire arms to hold necklaces or - yet MORE silly bandz, whateva these girlz will eventually hang on her. As for me, I will have her holding my necklaces.

REVEAL:

LOL sounds like OMG what is she revealing, it's just this fabric no big thing just my inspiration, just where the colors will tie in - just about the entire basis of the party itself. so yeah maybe it is pretty major....thoughts? whatever they are - I know you agree it's pretty FUN.!!!! :o)

So I started just messing around and getting all inspired and did these cute little buckets, don't you heart the $ tree cuz I do. So these babies will house, don't know what yet, but something totally cute!!!

And this - a fabric flower, why? because I had to. I had to try what's all over bloggie world. And so with my fabric this is what I did. I like it. pretty cute huh? so yeah part of the decor - again don't know exactly where it will play it's part - but it WILL be part of the show.

So there you have it, I have begun the party prep process. I'm sure you're as thrilled as I am - party is in September. Hopefully, no really, I'll have about 5 -6 of those jewelry holder thingies - I should give them a name right? we'll see. And I'll have more flowers, the buckets are done and ready to ship, that is to their resting place *laundry room a/k/a craft area* until the party.

Hey all, I hope everyone has a great wknd planned, I don't have much planned but just some pampering!!!!! (nice!!!!) and a few crafts here and there.!!!! I am hoping to get started on the S.O.P. decor this wknd so I can be ahead of the game since I tend to be a bit of a procrastinator...but we won't get into that now will we!!!! ta...ta...
