Autumn is a fancy way of saying Fall...

Hey everyone!!!!

I just wanted to share with you all some of my fall/halloween decor!!!

Starting with my Fantle. It's a little plain, I want to add a little bit to it...perhaps some branches to give it more height...I will see what I come up with...but here goes...

next up, my pumpkin - fall you just have to do pumpkins and a couple of bugs here and there
Isn't this witch the cutest? She isn't scary at all!!! She was given to me last year - she used to be at my desk at work, now she'll have a place in my home!

Love this pumpkin!!!! It's all over bloggie world and I just had to do it.

And just because - here are the shelves in my bathroom!!!! I love having shelves and being able to change the room my just using a splash of color!!!!!

I'm glad you stopped by to see some of my fall decor. I have to go outside (after the huge storm is over) and take some pics of my window display. It's really cute - not too scary - remember I have a lil' one that doesn't really do 'scary' - I still have to take out some other decor that belongs outside but the rain is holding me up!!!!

S-O-P {Part 2}

The girls made their own pizza...

This was fun and can I say they were quite impressed with this activity

Our pink lemonade filled with sweet, sliced strawberrys. I will tell you what happened to my beloved beverage dispenser in another post. I just can't talk about it yet, not happy!!!

Now, onto my fall decor!!!! Okay my garage - is like stocked with bins, my husband supposedly organized the garage, all by himself. Do we know what this means?

S-O-P {Part 1}

The much anticipated S-O-P was this past Saturday. It was like sooooo much fun!!!! Really I had a blast...kind of took me back from when I was a kid...

Here is the birthday girl - all decked out in her pjs and sleep mask {btw all her friends got to write on her pjs} *huge hit*

Here is my inspiration. I got this lovely beauty @ a yard sale! Now she's all decked out with a poof ball....she's usually up in my bedroom where she wears all my jewelry!
Sleeping quarters: I gave the girls enough space to hang out

The cupcake for the sleep over. It did NOT turn out the way I hoped it but I think it's pretty cute!

Craft Table for the girls. Plus a Decade of Birthdays collage. Some dress forms for the girls to get creative with stylin' their dress forms and sleeping masks for each girl. Plus mirrors cuz you know you HAVE to have make-overs @ sleepovers!

Table for the girls to have their pizza & cupcakes!!! Oh yeah - the girls made their very OWN pizza. Can I tell you that this was the COOLEST thing ever. The girls enjoyed it and I LOVED it!!! Pizza was DELISH - oh and yeah there was ice cream...like make-your-own sundae !!!

Here is what some describe a Fantle {fake mantle} so my Fantle was all decked out for the Birthday Girl!!!!

Oh the B-I-G 10 - a decade of LOVE. I stacked my platters to give it height and to give those YUMMY sugar cookies some style.

This is the table set up for the next day - where the family came over to sing happy bday and give out their gifts. Check out the sundae bar...woo hoo!!!! ice cream, cake, cupcakes and cookies....I mean can anyone ask for more???

The cake {next day} I made this cake - with help - of course!!! Oh can I just say I think I did a pretty awesome job for it being my 2nd time working with fondant!

Happy 10th Birthday my big girl. I love you so much!!!!!!

About the colors: Well I picked 2 colors from the fabric to use throughout the decor - i especially like these two very BRIGHT colors. I love color - LUV it.

Sure hope you like what's to come of this S-O-P {Sleep-Over-Party} for the next 2 days I will be finishing up the last of the details, grocery shopping for items that I need and setting up as apparently my hubby now has a meeting that wknd that he needs to attend. Thank goodness that I have a helper although how much help was hubby going to be with a bunch of giggly girls????

You're right ZERO help so I guess it's better that he's not around so

we can be a house of SILLY GIGGLING girls.

WOO HOO is this my GIRLS NITE that I've been so wanting? I guess I have to take it!!!!!

Back-to-School

It's that time again...girls are back. My big girl had an emotional moment but ended up having an awesome 1st day in Middle school. My lil' girl had a GREAT time in Kindergarten. She loved it, although some issues with 'friends' - it's only the 1st week...they will be okay!!! Coming up...Sleep-Over-Party!!!!

Thankful

Last nite - I finished up kailyn's invite to deliver to her friends today. I also did her bday banner. I have like 2 banners left to do. But once I get the urge to do something, I don't care what time it is. So I went to bed @ like 2 a.m. have you ever had so much on your mind that you have to write stuff down? Well my memory is like non-existent these days so writing down is a PRIORITY. So I'm in bed and I'm thinking, thinking, thinking...so I start writing. Does anyone else have a journal by their night stand? A pen and some paper? something...come on guys!!! Well I do. So I jotted things that came to my head, not ideas, per say, but things I cannot forget. So I'm thankful for my little journal, for my scraps of paper and for my pen by my nightstand.

I promise I'm going to take pics of all these and put it up. All this week is finishing up for her party next Saturday!!!! woo hoo.

We had a fun day in the city. We had orientations @ their new schools. Now Labor Day is upon us - next week school starts and along with that starts the projects.
